Parents, Teens and the Law

Our firm actively speaks in the community regarding Washington State DUI laws and related topics. In early 2009, we participated in several seminars designed to educate parents of middle school and high school students about drug and alcohol laws that may impact their children. These seminars were sponsored by the local PTSA organizations and held at Beaver Lake Elementary School, Liberty High School, Skyline High School and Issaquah High School. In connection with the high school presentations, the PTSA has produced for parents a very informative book entitled "Parents, Teens and the Law." Fox Bowman Duarte is scheduled to give presentations in the next few months to high school seniors detailing the issues and legal problems associated with drug and alcohol use.
